The carqueja liqueur was conceived and conceived by a couple (Miguel and Ida) who sought to develop a unique and representative drink of the Montemuro mountain region.

Carqueja is the most abundant and endemic plant of this mountain range, always used for medicinal and culinary purposes.

Pterospartum tridentantum, is the scientific name of carqueja, the main ingredient of Liquor Pterospartum - Carqueja. It is made up of endogenous products from the region (honey, carqueja, brandy). It does not contain dyes or preservatives, making it a completely natural drink.
