Aroma
Very concentrated, with balsamic notes of oak, fig, blackberry, and tobacco.
Taste
Very full-bodied, fleshy with ripe and round tannins. The finish is elegant, mineral, very persistent, and complex.
Winemaking
Part of the grapes are foot-trodden in lagares (traditional stone troughs). The rest are vinified in five-ton stainless steel tanks, with controlled temperature and robotic remontage (pumping over).
Aging
After malolactic fermentation, all wines are transferred to 225-liter French oak barrels where they remain for 18 months.
