Since the 2005 harvest, this wine has been a fundamental piece in the history of Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo and in its maximum expression of terroir. Coming from the first single-varietal Touriga Nacional vines planted in the Douro Demarcated Region, today 45 years old, on a 1.65 ha plot of vineyard with east-west exposure, from a mixture of clones whose productivity is very low, with very small clusters and berries. boy.
Unique, this batch of very concentrated Touriga Nacional, combined with centuries-old old vines, results in a wine with a very elegant, almost feminine profile, contrasting with an intense structure of juicy tannins of enormous precision.
